Poverty Point Field Trip - Oct. 18, 2010

Today we went to Poverty Point with some of our homeschool friends. There ended up being around 65 homeschoolers there. This is the biggest homeschool field trip we have been on. Mom even came with us. It was very interesting. We were able to learn how the indians made hot rocks using the soil in that area and mixing it with water. We also learned about artifacts. We were able to tour the museum & the mounds. I think Bryleigh enjoyed it, however, I'm not sure her or Tracee enjoyed it as much as I did. After the trip, we went to the State Park. It was an absolutely beautiful day.
