Every October we get together with my dad's side of the family. We gather at a church called Palestine Bapt. Church which was organized in 1842 and is located off Hwy 4. We have been meeting at this church for as long as I remember. We visit, eat lunch, have drawings for prizes & then today, we had pumpkin decorating for the kids. There is a little playground in the back of the church where the kids can play. We really have a great time visiting with our family. This year, I believe we had around 100 people there...that to me is a great turn-out.
